“Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.”

Dr Brene Brown

Grief is a natural and complex emotion that arises from various forms of loss, including the death of a loved one or animal, the end of a relationship, significant life or health changes, or the loss of an idea of what one’s future might look like or the sense of our identity.

Grief can’t be rushed or ignored. It demands to be witnessed.

Although grief is a common, normal, and universal experience, it is also incredibly painful.

Although grief is normal, and something we all face, as a society we often struggle to know how to navigate and support ourselves or others as we experience it.

We tend to avoid what we don't understand, what we fear, or what makes us uncomfortable.

Enter Grief Guide.

This is a service for individuals who are grieving, and who can access Specialised Grief, Loss, or Bereavement Counselling support.

This is also a service for Health Professionals counselling grieving clients, who may access Clinical Supervision or Training.

I am based in Meanjin (Brisbane), with face-to-face sessions available at Flow State Psychology in Sumner as well as over telehealth (via phone or video call).

Let me guide you towards a different way of grieving, where you can feel seen, heard and valued within your experience, at your own pace, and perhaps even find a place for hope and joy again.

Or let me help you offer this to the clients that you work with.
